Food Drive FAQ
What can I donate?

East Dartmouth Christian Food Bank especially appreciates nutritious non-perishable food donations that help make up part of a main meal.

MOST NEEDED FOOD ITEMS 

  • canned soups and stews

  • peanut butter

  • cereal

  • canned vegetables and fruits

  • canned meat, fish, and beans

  • rice

  • pasta and pasta sauce

  • sealed baby food and formula

  • meal replacement drinks

  • canned and powdered milk

Can I Drop Food Off?

We are accepting food donations for drop off at Stevens Road Baptist Church on Friday (July 9) from 1-3PM.

Who is organizing this drive?

Stevens Road Baptist youth are organizing a food drive to support those in your community!

They are participating in 'Undercurrent', which is an event focused on empowering young people to lead and engage in service opportunities in their neighbourhood.

Does Stevens Road Baptist Have  A Food Bank?

Stevens Road Baptist Church DOES NOT operate a food bank. All donations will be delivered to the East Dartmouth Christian Food Bank, a part of Feed Nova Scotia.
